Bald Headed Woman : ウィキペディア英語版 | Bald Headed Woman
"Bald Headed Woman" is a traditional blues song〔.〕 covered and released by The Kinks on their eponymous debut album in 1964〔(Release Information )〕 and The Who in 1965 as the b-side of "I Can't Explain". It is claimed that Jimmy Page, as a session guitarist, played lead guitar on "Bald Headed Woman" on both The Kinks〔(Hip Young Guitar Slinger: Overview ). ''Allmusic''〕 and The Who〔(The Who: Official Discography )〕 versions. However Page is officially credited with playing 12 string acoustic guitar on two tracks on The Kinks' debut album, "I'm a Lover Not a Fighter" and "I've Been Driving On Bald Mountain" 〔Booklet of the The Kinks (album) Deluxe Edition Sanctuary Records 2011〕 and possibly on the b-side "I Gotta Move",〔Booklet of the Kinks' Picture Book boxset Sanctuary Records 2008〕 but not on "Bald Headed Woman". The song was also covered by other artists of the time, including Harry Belafonte, as seen in the Bob Dylan documentary, ''No Direction Home''. ==References==
